Everything started in the studio of visual artist Victor Verhelst where a digital dream slowly took shape. Verhelst spent five years drawing surrealist landscapes and art on his laptop. But he also had a dream: to publish this art in book form. Verhelst set out to create a unique experience instead of just another art book. Fever Dream received a bronze award at the 2026 Henry van de Velde Awards 26 in the Graphics category.

The art book ‘Fever Dream’ was a limited edition of just 200 copies, and contains a hidden message for those in the know. Each book has a unique back cover, a fragment of a larger artwork by Victor. The only way to see the entire artwork is to combine all the copies.
