The historic building underwent a thorough restoration, during which the unique wallpaper in nine rooms was completely reconstructed. A challenging process in which Albe De Coker, as the expert in custom wallpaper, worked closely with designer Margot Billiet of <\/span><b>Atelier Billiet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"info_items\"><div class=\"item\"><h4>Date<\/h4>31\/07\/2025<\/div><div class=\"item\"><h4>Specialization<\/h4>Wallpaper<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"images\">\n\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"first\" src=\"https:\/\/albedecoker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/09_28_09_28_herita_beauvoorde_-_cjensbaert_-_118.jpg\" alt=\"09_28_09_28_herita_beauvoorde_-_cjensbaert_-_118\">\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section class=\"text_column\" >\n\t<div class=\"inner\">\n\t\t<h2>The restoration of wallpaper requires time, patience, and expertise<\/h2>\n<div class=\"content\"><div class=\"kollom\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIn some rooms, the pattern was so damaged that I had to paint it myself from scratch,\u201d Margot explains. That is why we opted to <\/span><b>reconstruct the original wallpaper<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, just as it looked 100 years ago.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"kollom\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Together with Albe De Coker, the <\/span><b>patterns were transposed into a contemporary, digital print format.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Albe De Coker has been in business since 1877. We then produced several test prints to arrive at the most accurate result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The paper was subsequently finished with gold screen printing. This traditional process is completely unique and can still not be fully replaced by digital techniques.
